Memories are beautiful reminders of the adventures and good times we’ve had and we certainly do want to hold onto them. However, if they start to overshadow our dreams, it means that we are living in the past. Keep dreaming your dreams.

We can choose to live our lives without adventure or risks. That may keep us safe and, as a result, life may roll along without trouble. But, life will also drift past us without feeling fulfilled and we will never see the full depth of who we are. Dare to be brave and live life to the fullest.

It is the imperfections and flaws in each of us that make us unique and individual. Without these small variations we would all be the same and the beautiful, colorful variety of the world would be lost. Celebrate your differences and let the uniqueness that comes from your imperfections shine.

Many believe that the world is too big of a place for one person to make a difference or that people cannot change. But, there are those out there who do not fall for those easy excuses, and they are the ones who inspire, motivate, and create. They make the world a better place for all of us.

Sometimes we mistaken beauty for the spectacular or extraordinary, but beauty can be simple, as well. It all depends on our perspective and how we choose to define the word. But, all things that are capable of bringing happiness, no matter how small, are beautiful.

Take time to give yourself the same grace and forgiveness that you extend to others.  Find peace in your heart despite your imperfections. Be kind to yourself and be grateful for the amazing and beautiful person you are.  Then, watch as the rest of your life follows.

Life is full of amazing moments and rewarding journeys. Our memories of these are rewarding and fill us with happy nostalgia, but it’s the adventures that have not yet come that fill our dreams. Never stop dreaming or turning those dreams into reality.

We can’t change the past. We can learn from it and we can try to right our wrongs, but no matter how much we wish we could, we can’t change it. Today is where we can make the difference. So, put the past behind you and focus on making today the best day you can.

A smile can make all the difference in the course of someone’s day. It can soothe away fears, give confidence, change a bad mood, or turn a dull moment into a happy memory. Take the time to smile. The world will be grateful.

With each step taken and each action played out, remember that, when borrowed, an object or place must be returned in the same, or better, condition then when it was received. Make Earth a better place for the next generation. No part, no act, is too small.

A smile, from a stranger or someone dear to you, can change the day.  Because of the power it has to quickly and easily make a day better, it is a beautiful gift. Smile often and make the world a better place.

Often we get so caught up in the mundane aspects of life and the world we live in becomes so familiar that we stop seeing the beauty and wonder that is in the spaces all around us.  Keep your eyes and hearts open to those small wonders and make a point to enjoy them every day.

Your roots are your source of life, your home, the place where you first became you. To forget or to ignore your roots is to forget who you are. Stay humble to your beginning, and from there you can grow into all the brilliance you were meant to be.

Too often we put off our dreams for tomorrow or hold back for fear of what we could lose. But, where is the line between living life fully today and holding back for the future that is not promised. Live out your dreams and you will live a life without regrets.

Hold onto those places that make you feel so complete and at peace that you wish you could stay forever.  That feeling is a message from the world that you are where you need to be. When that calling to move on whispers in your ear, set out on your journey once again knowing that the world is calling you to follow your songline.
